About the role
We are currently seeking an Early Intervention and Injury Management Advisor for a people focused individual with excellent technical and organisational skills to join the Health, Safety & Wellbeing team.
The primary focus to provide expert advice and support to the whole organisation on a range of health, safety, wellbeing, early intervention and workers compensation matters. This position manages both work and non-work-related injuries to support injured people in the organisation and providing coaching to management on early and safe RTW.
Reporting to the Manager Health, Safety & Wellbeing and working in tandem with the Senior Injury Management & Workers Compensation Specialist specific accountabilities will include providing technical knowledge and guidance to managers on best practice injury prevention, early intervention, injury management and workers compensation, specialising in Mental Health. This includes managing return to work and claims, working toward reduced lost time for injured workers and a reduction in effective rates for workers' compensation premium.
