About ESTA

ESTA is the critical link between the Victorian community and the state's emergency services agencies and it partners with the agencies to improve service delivery to the community. It provides Victoria's 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for police, fire, ambulance and VICSES and manages the provision of advanced, operational communications for police, ambulance, fire services and the SES.  Its vision is to be a high-performing team trusted by the community and our partners to deliver the right emergency response. And its central goal is to save lives and prevent harm through speed and accuracy in emergency operations.

About the role

  • Assist with the delivery of projects through the application of our Project Management Excellence Framework and associated templates and processes as directed by PMO Coordinator
  • Organise project related meetings and workshops, including preparation of agenda, meeting materials and minutes.
  • Provide adequate financial monitoring for the multiple projects and support delivery of procurement and contract activities to meet the needs of ESTA and the project (goods receipting, raising purchase orders, sourcing strategies etc.
  • Under the direction of the PMO Coordinator,or designated Project/Program Managers, maintain core project management documents.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in business processes, supporting streamlined delivery of projects including financial management, IT change management and portfolio governance

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you will have:

  • Project support and project delivery experience
  • Excellent administration skills with a high attention to detail
  • Proven understanding of the project life cycle and project methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing and maintaining documentations
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and prioritise their demands effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and confident presentation skills
  • Prince 2 qualification or other project management qualifications would be highly desirable
  • Previous experience supporting projects in the public sector would be highly advantageous
