About ESTA

ESTA is the critical link between the Victorian community and the state's emergency services agencies and it partners with the agencies to improve service delivery to the community. It provides Victoria's 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for police, fire, ambulance and VICSES and manages the provision of advanced, operational communications for police, ambulance, fire services and the SES.  Its vision is to be a high-performing team trusted by the community and our partners to deliver the right emergency response.

About the role

The Senior People & Culture Partner is a pivotal role in a new team providing a value add generalist HR service and plays a key role supporting the implementation of people initiatives. The Partnering team's focus is workforce planning, talent development, change management, and performance.  You will build trusted relationships to deliver impactful and integrate people programs, boost leadership capability and coach our people managers to ensure they are equipped to foster a high performing workforce.

You will have

  • Experience in a progressive  HR Business Partner role exposed to contemporary HR practices, industrial agreements, HR/ER management
  • Ability to provide accurate and contemporary HR related advice with impactful outcomes
  • Strong analytical and research capability with a proven ability to deliver evidence based papers and presentations
  • Exceptional stakeholder relations skills and high ability to influence people in complex environments
  • Demonstrated ability to work at a strategic level with a high level of initiative and decision making
  • Outstanding communication skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Bachelor degree qualification and experience
